Here starts the fall
But it came a couple weeks ago
But that’s the way it feels.
It’s an October feeling
Out with the old
Raking and sweeping
Dusting he ghosts in our machines
And outside our selves
Our bodies are our souls
It’s the beginning of the end and that makes us all feel cozy. If we don’t make it through this winter coming alive, at least we know we did our best
We did it happy
Maybe not always with a smile
There’s still time to thank an old friend or clash with an old enemy.
It’s always half steps until one day you just face death; you look into yourself, into your reflection
